    About Us

Slabs salvaged from the 2013 ice storm that blanketed south Ontario in a layer of ice.

...From the woods to your living/ dining room , I was there!

There is something special about a dirty old peice of wood. I love searching the Bush for storm felled logs.

Maybe it the time spent wandering, maybe it's the serenity, maybe it's the human silence. I am not sure exactly what draws me to this, however, I truly believe it's the pride I feel knowing that I saved this spectacular lumber from definite decay.

I personally collect the majority of the logs I use by searching through a friend's bush in looking for natural or storm felled trees. Pulling them the the edge of the Bush, then stripping, stacking and staging them for future removal.

Once I get the logs home I either mill them myself or have a friend mill them.

After staring at the slabs for more than a year I begin the creation of peices.

I guessed you could say .... From the woods to your living/dining room, I was there.
